Y0k is the project of Cayo Carignani, a music producer/beatmaker/independent artist from Brazil/Rio de Janeiro, he also travels through brazil selling his beat-tapes hand by hand. He used to release beats with another project, but with the knowledge that he acquired in those years of experimentation and practicing it leads to this new project y0k, a simple abbreviation of his name and it is like the music: pure and filled with mixed emotions between the chopped samples, synthesizers and jazzy melodies played on a MIDI keyboard. These beats were made in 2014/2015, in my room, sampling everything and playing synthesizers and electronic pianos, all these beats are very imagetic to me cause they accompanied me in my headphones during the year. I view this phase of my life as a open world of possibilities in art cause I'm also an videomaker/visual artist and because I'm a huge fan of Alejandro Jodorowsky I named this album "Holy Mountain", cause it's an important part of my spiritual journey as the movie.
